Popis
Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) are a vital part of the European and global economies. The FL486 survey on “SME’s, start-ups, scale-ups and entrepreneurship” was conducted in the EU27 and an additional 12 non-EU countries and territories and focuses on the barriers and challenges that SME’s in Europe face when growing, transitioning to more sustainable business models and digitisation. The survey collected responses during more than 16,000 telephone interviews with enterprises employing one or more persons between 19. February and 5. May. Most of the interviews were conducted before the outbreak of the COVID-19 in the country of these enterprises. The survey will serve as a key input for the European Commissions “SME strategy for a sustainable and digital Europe”.
