Slovenia, regarded as a 'Fast Tracker' in last year's Open Data maturity assessment, is further developing its Open Data initiative with measures to improve awareness and transparency. Slovenia will be actively involved in the European Statistical Olympics. This is a European competition to promote statistical literacy, curiosity and interest in official statistics among secondary school students. On 24 and 25 May, the third annual South Eastern Europe Dialogue on Internet Governance (SEEDIG) took place in Ohrid, in the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. The Finnish Government recently passed a new Act on Transport Services that sets out that essential data on transport services should be made open.
