European Commission launched the Support Centre for Data Sharing!
On 15 July 2019, the Support Centre for Data Sharing went live. The Support Centre for Data Sharing is a new initiative funded by the European Commission to further support the development of the Digital Single Market. The objective is to facilitate data sharing, i.e. transactions in which data held by the public sector or the private sector are made available to other organisations (public or private) for re-use. Poland publishes open data good practice guide
In July 2019, the Polish Ministry of Digital Affairs published the " Open data. Good practice guide". The good practice guideline is part of the project " Open data - access, standard, education" that aims to increase the availability and quality of open data and its re-use. The guide describes the basic framework for the process of opening data by referencing relevant legal acts, identifying desired institutional settings, and presenting practical scenarios for data opening in government offices.
