Four new smartphone applications are developed and available for download on the web http://datos.santander.es/applications/. The new applications are called 'Santander Cultural Agenda', 'Santander on the way', 'Businesses Santander' and 'Taxi Santander Pebble'. France announces opening of SIRENE database with company data free of charge
After opening data from the Directorate of Legal and Administrative Information (DILA), from INPI (trademarks, patents and designs) and the company register (RNCS), the release of the SIRENE dataset is the last part of company related data that was missing for a comprehensive overview of data on French companies. This file contains information on associations and public entities including the unique company identifier. Helsinki University Library opens its data
The majority of data from the Helsinki University Library is available via the web service: http://api.hulib.helsinki.fi. The service contains data about library opening hours as well. Citizens and businesses can retrieve the library's data from the service for personal or commercial purposes. With the release of the data, the library hopes to see the development of new mobile services based on their data.
